This download is fully functional, but does not contain our extensive Symbol library, that contains thousands of easy to use graphics (complete symbol list available here). If you require the symbol library, please click the link below and have a All-in-one CD mailed to you.

Firmware - specific to each hardware unit required by all OCSs

Now you can decide how to use our CAN port available on majority of OCS units:

• CsCAN - protocol developed by Horner APG, guarantees easy peer-to-peer data exchange between all the nodes on the network (up to 255 nodes including OCS and SmartStix units). This is factory installed in each unit, can be updated by Cscape™ and is stored in the Cscape/Firmware directory
• CANopen - wide known industry standard, supports up to 16 Slaves (when XLe or XLt as a Master) 127 Slaves (when XL6, NX or QX as a Master). By installing this firmware the CAN port will operate in the CANopen mode, replacing the factory installed CsCAN.

Cscape Help Files

OCS protocols for Cscape™

Hot off the desktops from our development team are these X Series device protocols for use with our Cscape™ OCS programming software and XL Series, NX, LX and QX platforms.

To install, simply download the zipped files you require and extract the DLL inside to your Cscape/Protocols directory and restart Cscape™.

After extraction, the same directory (Cscape/Protocols) will hold a protocol specific help file in .chm format. The same file is accessible from Cscape menu -> Protocol Configuration -> Network -> 'Protocol Help' button.

Sample Applications

The following examples were created for the specific OCS platform. However they can be easily converted to fit any of the OCS platform specified in brackets. To do so one would have to make sure that the screens are properly formated (especially when converting from bigger to smaller screens).
