PRODUCT CERTIFICATIONS
CE Marking
Horner APG products are intended for sale and use within the European market and conform with European Union directives. Products meeting the requirements have the CE marking per the relevant European Union Directives. A CE Declaration of Conformity for Horner APG products is available to view or print out. Only products listed in the CE Declaration of onformity meet CE conformity and the DOC supersedes any references on this Web site or in product literature.

UL Listing
Horner APG seeks Underwriters Laboratories (UL) approval for most products. Our products are tested under UL508 (Industrial Control Equipment) and UL1604 (Hazardous Locations) and meet or exceed these safety standards in both the U.S. and Canada (ULC). The compilation of UL approved Horner products is detailed in the UL Approval List that is available to view or to print out. Only products included in the UL Approval List are UL listed and the UL supersedes any references on this Web site or in product literature.

CSA Listing
Horner APG recently applied for Canadian Standards Association
(CSA) approval for a small subset of our products under Standard
14. The CSA mark is recognized in both the U.S. and Canada. The
compilation of CSA approved Horner products is detailed in the CSA
Approval List that is available to view or to print out. Only
products included in the CSA Approval List are CSA listed and this
document supersedes any references on this Web site or in product
literature.

In the voluntary ABS Type Approval Program, ABS certifies that enrolled manufacturers around the world are capable of consistently producing a product in compliance with product specifications. Each product is tested extensively to verify that it will perform reliably in the marine and offshore environment.

Compliance
Since 2006 The European Union (EU) has enacted two
Directives. One is concerned with product recycling (Waste
Electrical and Electronic Equipment, WEEE) and the other limits the
use of certain substances (Restriction on the use of Hazardous
Substances, RoHS). As a customer focused global manufacturer of a
wide range of control system products, Horner APG is committed to
developing products that comply with the above mentioned
Directives.
